About Anna
Anna Perry, MA, MS, NCC
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. My name is Anna and I'm a therapist specializing in helping teens and young adults overcome their anxiety. If you're tired of feeling anxious and stressed, feeling stuck in your relationships, and worrying about work or school 24/7, I can help.
My practice is safe and inclusive to all identities. I'm approachable and personable and balance empathy with professional therapeutic skills. I take the time to make sure you feel comfortable, connected, and understood so you can create real change in your life.

My Background
I believe (and research suggests!) that the relationship you have with your therapist is the most important factor in determining how helpful therapy will be for you. Choosing the right therapist can make all the difference.
In my practice, I work mostly with millennial women and teens struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships. As someone who has struggled with these issues personally, I bring hard-earned knowledge from both my life experiences as well as my professional interests and expertise. I am both professional and knowledgeable, and human and relatable.
I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee. In addition to my graduate training, I've studied and worked as a health and wellness coach and as a fitness instructor.
I'm passionate about wellness and utilize a holistic approach when working with clients- meaning I incorporate social, physical, emotional, occupational, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial wellness in our work together. I believe all of these dimensions are interconnected and that balance is crucial.
I'm trained in Person-Centered Therapy, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I have also studied trauma-informed interventions that focus on healing the nervous system through parts work and somatic therapy. I use an integrative approach, meaning I will customize techniques depending on what you need.
I have worked in private practice settings as well as non-profit mental health agencies. I have over 7 years of experience as a coach, mentor, and therapist, and am continuously seeking to learn and grow as a clinician. I'm working under the supervision of John Martin, LCSW at Autumn's Harbor Psychotherapy.
