Anxiety

Together, we'll get to the root of what's fueling your anxiety. You'll learn new ways of identifying and relating to your anxious thoughts. You'll use mindfulness and work with your nervous system to create a deeper sense of peace, calm, and purpose in your daily life. We'll use a mind/body approach that integrates coping skills with self-compassion and acceptance. With your new tools and perspective, you'll feel more equipped in dealing with anxiety.

Self Esteem

We'll get curious about the feelings of shame and self-doubt that are holding you back. We'll explore negative messages about yourself that are no longer working for you and discover new ways to quiet your inner critic and treat yourself with kindness and compassion.

When you feel comfortable in your own skin, you may notice improvements in all of your relationships. You may feel a greater sense of confidence at home, work, school, or wherever you may be.

Relationships

People are complicated. Relationships with people... also complicated. Fear of judgment may keep you from talking to friends and family when problems come up. I provide a supportive, objective, and confidential space for you to work through conflict, strengthen your relationships, or process difficult transitions - like breakups. We can also work on setting boundaries, prioritizing your own needs, communicating clearly, and being vulnerable.

Life Transitions

If you are a teen or millennial, you're likely navigating some big changes in what can feel like a very uncertain world. I'm here to help you get clear on your values and purpose and work through the blocks, fears, and uncertainties that are holding you back. Whether it be deciding on a college or career, or whether a relationship is working for you, you don't have to do it alone.

HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)

In addition to my work with anxious teens and millennials, I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People, or HSPs. This term was coined by Psychologist Elaine Aron who noticed a specific type of neurodivergence that includes an increased or deeper central nervous system sensitivity to physical, emotional, or social stimuli. If you've ever been described as being "too sensitive" or told you "shouldn't think so much", you might have this specific trait that brings with it both unique strengths and challenges. I enjoy working with HSPs to reclaim their sensitivity as a strength and find ways to thrive in the world. You can take an assessment here.

“You will learn a lot about yourself if you stretch in the direction of goodness, of bigness, of kindness,
of forgiveness, of emotional bravery.
Be a warrior for love.”

- Cheryl Strayed

"What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, more unashamed conversation."
